Show Desktop shortcut ???

The "Show Desktop" Icon (shortcut) that usually lives in the task bar
has somehow been deleted from there.

I'd like to restore it but cannot figure out how.

Anyone able to help?

Much thanks!

Copy the Show Desktop.scf file from:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

to your profile here:

C:\Documents and Settings\{Username}\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Quick Launch

Hi - thanks for the response.

I do not have the 'administrator' part of the file name below. I have
only the "all users' 'default user' and another file with my user name.
The Show Desktop.scf does not appear in any of these folders.

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft
\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

Ideas on what else to do?
Thanks

Click Start, Run, and type Notepad. Type the following contents into the
document.

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save the file as "ShowDesktop.SCF" [with double-quotes]. Drag the file to
the Quick Launch area.
