Should I re-allocate the volume of pagefiles after adding memory sticks?

I heard that the volume of pagefiles should be 1.5 as much as the volume of
physical memory if the physical memory is < 256MB. If the physical memory is
256, the volume of pagefile should be half of it or as much as it. Is the
conclusion true for improve the performance of OS?

BTW, Should all the disks be allocated some volume of pagefiles?

1. Let the system manage the pagefile.
2. No.
