Should I delete my original WORD DOCUMENT files after I copy them to
Microsoft Office Online?
 
I suspect you mean you are using Office Live. I don't use that but I didn't
think they were offering free online storage of documents. And even if they
were, I wouldn't take advantage of that. I like knowing where my files are
and who can access my data. Even if all it is is a grocery list.

Why bother? Are you running out of disk space in your computer?

More seriously, how confident are you that you'll be able to access any file you
need, whenever you need it, from Office Online? Is your network connection good
100% of the time?

I'd give it at least a few months. If you decide the online setup is rock solid,
copy the files to a CD or DVD for backup, and delete them from the hard drive.
