shotcut icons

when i go to a page such as www.espn.com ,when I create a shortcut to that
page to my desktop the icon is a ESPN icon. after about 2 or 3 times of
restarting my computerthe icons change into internet explorer icons. my
browser is internet explorer,but I like the original icons,why are they
changing,and is there something i can do to make them not change,or bring
them back

Favicons are stored in the Temporary Internet files, hence why they
disappear after time.

i went to the website you told me and it pulled up stuffit page ,now what do i do
