Hi

I've just installed Windows XP Pro (from scratch) and has the most recent
updates.

When I try to save a file from any program, and I want to go directly to the
saving folder using one of my folder shortcuts (shortcuts poiting to
folders) the program asks me if I want to replace the exisiting file! It
seems like Windows XP is treating the shortcuts as normal data files, not as
shortcuts!

A friend of mine tried the same, works fine for him.

Anyone?

Itseems like Windows XP is treating the shortcuts as normal data files,
not as
shortcuts!

If you right click the 'shortcut' and choose properties, does the properties
box show a shortcut tab?
