So I have a shortcut to both my C and D drive on my desktop. Both the
shortcuts work when I click on them. However in dialog boxes when I'm asked
to open or save a file if I click on those shortcuts I get an error message
saying "The drive or network share that System.lnk refers to is unavailable.
Make sure the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is
available, and then try again." I click ok and I end up in the root C or D
directory depending on which shortcut I chose. Other shortcuts to sub
directories don't cause this error. Also creating the shortcuts in othe
places besides the Desktop results in the same behavior. I can't seem to
find anything that really describes or fixes my problem in the knowledge
base or via google. Has anyone else seen this or have any other ideas about
how to really diagnose or fix the problem?
Thanks
