How can I create a shortcut (on the desktop) for Volume Mixer?

Create a shortcut with the command:
SndVol

(If you wish to find others, rightclick the application in Task Manager, and
'go to process' for the name.

I'm not using Vista right now, so I cannot check for you, but you might like

Have you tried searching for it in the Start Menu, and then just CTRL
dragging the shortcut across?
