I would like to make a shortcut of the START icon in windows xp. Can anyone

There are at least two methods to get directly to the Start button:
a) With your mouse: Click the Start button.
b) With your keyboard: Press Ctrl+Esc
What extra functionality do you expect by creating your own shortcut?

I know how to get to START. That was not the question.

I wanted a shortcut that I can drop into a "MAC like" taskbar at the bottom,
downloaded per recommendation from the latest Maximum PC under
Rocketdock.com

Yes, I tried that. I cannot be dragged.
