Shortcut key to do auto text entry

I would like to set up shortcut keys to type common stuff
automatically - name, address, email address, some products we have at
business, company name, etc.

Ideally I could set up <something> + N to just type "Ed Barrett".

Any ideas?

I don't know of any native way to do it in Windows but there are/were
specialty keyboards available that have extra "function" keys that can store
macros/text/etc. I have no idea where you could get one but I know they
exist, as a former co-worker used to have one.

I just did a quick google search and found some third party software that
may do the trick:

"AutoIt" available to preprogram "keypresses".
