Shortcut Key Creation
Can I create a shortcut key for save and close in Excel?

hi
there is already shortcuts for that.
Ctrl+S saves the file
Ctrl+w closes the workbook.

were you looking to combine the two? for that you could record a macro and
assign a shortcut to it.

post scriptum
the macro would have to go into your personal workbook so that it would be
available to any and all workbooks.
