Hi All,

I have about 8 different shortcut folders with different icons. The problem
is when I open each folder shortcut I expect it to be in a specific area on
the desktop. Lately I noticed it does NOT remember the last position as it was
opened.

Any idea how to fix it?

Thanks,

Doron

Turn off Auto Arrange:

Right-click on Desktop > Arrange Icons By > deselect Auto Arrange

Hi Stephen,

That was not the problem. I mean when I double click on folder short cut, it
needs to be opened in the right possition where it was last opened. Then
when I close it and open it again, and it is located in a different area on
the desktop.

If you want them to be in your order then right click and click arrange icons
by and untick auto arrange

I hope that solves your prob

Cheers
