Hi, in lotus 123 I used to ( after naming a group of cells) press F4 and type
in a number say 100 and I would be taken too that cell, in XL I can't use a
number so I have to use _100, which means I now have to press F4 then shift
and then _ 100.
Is there a quicker way to do this? can I change a F key to become _ or is
there a macro I could use To open the go to box And put in _ then all I need
to do is press the F key and type in the number, I know it sounds sad but I
need to do this around 900 times in a four hour period.

Thanks in advance, wildauk.

I think you mean F5.

Don't name your cells with a number, name then with a letter combination.
Then just type in the lowercase letters. Or name them \100 as an example.

In the Namebox, select a named cell or just type in an address like A100 and
<ENTER>

OR Edit>Go To and do the same.

CTRL + G will open the Go To dialog.
