Shift+Click on line

In PowerPoint 2003 I was able to draw a line and then hold the Shift+Left
Mouse Button, I could then extend the line and turn the line vertical or
horizontal. In PowerPoint 2007 the function does not work the same. Is there
anyway to get the function in PowerPoint 2007 to work like in PowerPoint 2003?

It works fine in my 2007, only without the shift key. Holding down the Shift
Key only allows you to lengthen or shorten. does not allow changing
direction

Don't think you can change the direction when Shift key is pressed. On the
other hand, if you turn "Snap to grid" on, you should be able to change the
line to vertical or horizontal easily.

Sorry..I meant to say with the Ctrl+Left Mouse Button. I will try using the
snap gird and see if it is similar.

Matt,
The ctrl+left mouse button does not work anymore. As far as I can tell there
is no other way to do it.
