Shellmanager Corrupt or missing

I am trying to unload Nero 7 Ultimate and it bombs out with this statement:
"Shellmanager Database is corrupt or missing." I have used system restore and
it still gives me the same babble. How can I get rid of this program? It had
a problem finishing up a DVD write so I want to reinstall the software. I
have XP Pro with the latest updates. I hope someone can point me somewhere
for answers because the Nero site sure doesn't have any. Thanks for looking
at my problem.
