Shell Notification Error

I have several Fujitsu Tablet PCs running XP PRO Tablet
Version. Occasionally during boot up process an error
will pop up in a box "Shell Notification Error"
Sometimes the computer locks up and a reboot is
required. Any suggestions would be great.

The error occurs when a program wants to place an icon in the
notification tray (by the clock) and the tray cannot receive it for
whatever reason. Troubleshoot by examining tray items. May need to
reduce the number allowed or use process of elmination to find out
which icon is having trouble loading.
