SHELL.DLL not found error

My computer was working last week; however, this week when I tried to get into my QuattroPro spreadsheet, I only got the SHELL.DLL not found error. I tried re-loading the program and when that failed, I tried re-loading Windows XP Professional. Nothing has helped...anything else I can try????

Did you first try uninstalling the program from the Add/Remove Programs
in Control Panel. Was the
Attempt at reloading WinXP successful?

Just for grins, go to Start>Run then type 'msinfo32' and hit OK
Open Software Environment and then Services
Look for something called 'Network Security Service' reply with the
following (if its there):

Display_Name:
Name:
State:
Start Mode:
Service Type:
Path:
Error Control:
Start Name:
Tag ID:
