Shceduler program installed

1) a program called 'Scheduler' installs itself at bootup and takes 100% of
my CPU resources, until I logon the the Web, then no longer runs, it seems.
2) a cannot get onto the Symantec web sites, though I have no problem
getting on other Web sites.
3) my Symantec Antivirus will not liveupdate.
are these virus /spy problems?

Who knows for sure? Clean up and see if it helps..

I have sent you my list in another post, that should get you fairly clean
and secure.
