Hi,
I have a Windows XP machine that had SP2 installed but I removed it
back to SP1. I have an HP printer attached to this machine. I am
sharing it on a network. Another XP machine on the network can share
the printer.
I have a 2000 machine and I try and browse for shared network printer
it doesn't show up in the graphic tree of the network and workstations.
The XP machine that has the printer on is shown though but not the
printer. I put in the \\xpmachinesname\shared name of printer in the
field and it accepts it.
I try with the other xp machine browsing for printers and the printer
shows up under workgroup part of the tree graphic. I can print from
this machine.
How can I make it so that the 2000 machine can see the shared printer
and print from it? thankyou.
