Sharing Windows Contacts between users on same computer

I would like to set up a single set of Windows Contacts which can be used by
the two users on my machine, such that any changes made by one of them is
visible to both.

I have tried creating a shared contacts folder but Windows Mail will not
then treat this as the Windows Contacts folder for email purposes.

Does anyone know of any obvious solutions I am missing?

Many thanks

Have you used the 'Location' tab in the Contacts folder's Properties dialog
to point both user's Contacts to the same location?

Thanks for this suggestion - it seems to take me half way there in that both
users' contact folders are now the same (referenced to a single source) but
Windows Mail now thinks my contacts folder is empty when trying to compose
emails.

One way to do this is for both users to upgrade to Windows Live Mail,
which can be configured to sync contacts with a (common) Hotmail account.
A bonus is that the Hotmail account keeps a backup copy of your contacts,
and it has a nice utility for merging contacts and weeding out possible duplicates.

I just redirected my contacts & the 'Select Recipient' dialog was empty
until I closed & reopened Windows Mail. Have you done that?
