I have a file located in c:\Program Files\Trams\database tha tI need to share across a LA
XP Pro does not allow the Program FIles folder to be shared. Is there any way to bypass tis setting adn share that folder (and thus sub folders)

Shares on othe rfolders on my network operate correctly

Thanks in advance

Greetings McGiver,

Windows XP doesn't allow you to share the Program Files folder when simple
file sharing is enabled. With Windows XP Pro, you can disable it and that
will allow you to share the Program Files folder. You should be able to
share subfolders (eg: C:\Programs Files\Outlook) and still be able to access
those folder across the network.

I've done this on the two computers that I'm trying to share betwee
and I'm still not able to see. It says access is denied
