Sharing Tasks with Line Manager - can I hide personal tasks?

I have to share my Tasks with my Line Manager and give him read and write
access.

I want to be able to create some 'personal' items that I do not want him to
see. Is this possible?

I understand you could do it with Views or Filtering but I can't get access
to his machine to change the View on it?

It depends how the Tasks are shared. If Manager is a Delegate, the default
is that the Delegate cannot see "Private " items. When creating a task,
simply check the "Private" box in the lower right-hand corner.
