I'm having the same problem - Have an XP home machine with USB printer
attached. Printer works fine from XP machine.

Trying to print from Network W98 machine - finds XP machine, but no printer
listed.

Checking the profile for the XP printer, I see that it is necessary to add
additional W98 Drivers to the printer so that it is recognized by the W98
machine.

My problem is, I can't find the necessary drivers on my XPHome OEM disk.

Would appreciate any suggestions to point me in the right direction....

If your printer came with a CD, try that; if not, point your browser
to the printer vendor's website and download from there.
