Sharing our Outlook business contacts on our local network

We would like to share our business Outlook contacts on 5 computers in our
office on our local network. All five computers are connected to each other
via router which is also connected to a NAS Server in our office.

We have tried to use an Exchange server but it seems like a lot of work and
expense just to share Outlook Contacts here locally in our office. We are
looking for a way to share our Contacts locally without using an Exchange
server.

Our computer tech does not favor Outlook Add-Ons as there is a danger of
corruption. We just had a virus crash all of our Outlooks that came in via
Cloudmark Spamnet so I can see his point. The crash cost of hundreds of
dollars of lost productivity and tech time.

Is there a way for us to share a .PST on our NAS server?

If we do need a Add-on to share our contacts what is the best one for
sharing our contacts? We only want to share our Contacts.

I forgot to mention that we are using Outlook 2003. We can upgrade to
Outlook 2007 if it allows us to share our business contacts.
Thank you,
John
