sharing internet connection with network

I had my network up and running fine then something
happened. I get an error message when trying to share
the internet connections.
"ERROR 1068 THE DEPENDENCY SERVICE OR GROUPS FAILED TO
START"
I have tried the IPCONFIG to release and renew IP address
but says cannot renew?
Any help would be great

I figured it out. Some of my services got disabled and
now it is working!

Are you running XP Sp1? If so, try reinstalling SP1. See 329441 You Cannot
