Hello,

Once physical connectivity is established, what is the easiest way to
achieve sharing of Global Address Lists in Exchange 2000 between two
entirely separate domains?

Domain:
xyz.com
pdq.com

Both domains run:
Windows 2000 Server
Exchange 2000 Server

Thanks!
Terry

Terry:

Either unidirectional or bidirectional trust relationship.

That's how our "corp." email is done. Our separate office has one Domain. The campus
email system uses a different Domain. We have a one way trust. If you are authenticated
on our Domain then you can use the Exchange server on the campus Domain.

OK, I trust needs to be put in place, understood.

How do you have two entirely separate Exchange 2000 environments share their
GAL?

That I can help you with....

I tak it you mean separate Forests and not just separate domains?
SimpleSync www.cps-systems.com wil let you share GALs between diverse
and similar systems.

Mark,

Sorry, yes, I mean Forests.

All we want to do is have our GAL's sync'ed nothing more... this software
will achieve this? Does it require a trust be put into place?

Can you achieve sharing the GAL without the use of 3rd party stuff?
