Where can i put files so all users can get access to them. Setting up one
computer is enough without having to do it for every user. Same problem with
the start menu, none if my programs appear for other users. I am logged in
as administrator so maybe that has an effect. Thanks in advance.

Vista has Public folders that you can use to share files with others on your
network. For complete instructions on how to use them, search Help for
"Sharing files with the Public folder".

This can be a little more difficult. If you right-click the "All Programs"
item on the Start menu, you'll see items for "Open" and "Open All Users".
The first one contains items that will be displayed only when you are logged
on, and the second contains items that will be displayed when anyone logs
on. You can open both windows and move items from one to the other.
However, depending on which version of Vista you have and what account and
type of account you use to log in, you might get lots of warnings or be
stopped from making changes to the All Users menus. Make sure you're logged
in as an administrator.

I hope this helps.

That's the best advice you got? Somebody asks a question, you say look
it up in help? I guess that's falling back on your 20 plus years of
Windows experience you were bragging about in another thread right
buddy?

if he is a mvp dont expect much...

I certainly hope that you feel better about yourself now that you've gotten
that off your chest.

I used to be an MVP years ago, but I got too busy helping people here to
keep up with these groups. But I've got more time now, I learn a lot here
in these forums (especially from the MVPs), and I like helping people, so
I'm going to try to spend a few hours here each week from now on.

I notice that, like Adam, you never even try to offer any help to anyone and
that all you ever give are insults. I've always been puzzled by that
personality disorder, but I am so very grateful when someone tells me right
away that they have nothing to offer and that I can safely filter all of
their messages and without wasting bandwidth by downloading their tripe
anymore.

Of course, I realize that you now will be compelled to flame me, but even
though I'll never read another one of your posts, I do hope that you will
seek psychological help. You must be a very unhappy person.
