Sharing email files & folders between accounts

I am running XP Home Edition; my wife and I have separate accounts on the pc
but we use the same email box from our ISP. What do I need to do to have
Outlook from our 2 accounts reference the same Outlook email folders? Thank
you!

Thank you, I tried moving the PST to a new location using Copy in Explorer.
However, then when going to the Mail Client in Control Panel, I don't seem to
be able to change the FileName in the mail client to point to the pst at the
new location? Do you have a refernce which shows me the steps to move the
PST, then to set up mine and my wife's accounts to point to that same pst?
Thank you ofr any help you are able to offer!

Thank you, this site mentions how to keep the husb/wife emails separate; what
do I need to do to have my wife's Windows acct and my Windows acct be able to
point to the same PST file for Outlook? I copied my pst to a location where
both accts shd be able to get to it but I can't seem to change the Email
Client in Control Panel to point my data file to the new one?

Hi Bill,

at first please change the name of the PST file that you want to use.

Click on "Personal Folder" (of the PST file that you want to use as default
folder). Right mouseclick "properties/advanced" and change here the name to
"Personal Folder default"

In the Outlook menu under "tools/email accounts/show existing email
accounts/ in the left corner you can change the default folder. Change the
setting to "Personal Folder default" and restart Outlook.

Normally you must get a message like "the default delivery folder was
changed". Confirm this with OK.

Now you can delet the other (not default) folder.

You can change the name now back to "Personal Folder". To change the name
was only helpfull to select the right "Personal Folder".

You don't change it. You have to Add the new file, then set the new file as
the default delivery location. Then you can remove the old one....
