Sharing/Accessing Mac->PC & PC->Mac

Hello Group,

I would like to share mu WindowsXP with a Mac running Tiger as well as
share my Tiger with XP. This would include accessing an HP printer
hooked up to my Mac from the PC.

It's very easy. You just need to run Samba on the Mac and create
identical user accounts/passwords on the two machines. Share out
desired resources. Look in the Mac's Help file for Samba or Google:

its a little easier than that now Malke - while you're still effectively
running SAMBA you wouldn't know it. See my reply to the multipost in

Thanks, Robert, I will look at your post in .newusers. The last Mac I
had was running the first iteration of OSX and I don't have a newer one
to test. I figured it was easy now because I was so impressed with the
seamlessness of it under the one I had. Even with the first OSX I was
like - what, you mean that's *it*?! Clever Apples.
