I have a laptop and a desktop that share a wireless connection to each other
and the internet. How do I "see" the laptop from the desktop, and vice versa
to share Outlook tasks, calendars, etc. There is another person using the
laptop so I want us to have our own seperate .pst files. Both computers are
running XP.

Thanks,
Liz

Version of Outlook? Generally speaking, you cannot share a .pst file and
Exchange is probably out of the question for you (grin) so have a look here:

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, ehooper asked:

Sorry - Outlook 2003 on both machines. Rats! I was hoping for something less
costly...thanks for the reply! :)

Liz,

Check out www.pcdotcom.com for sharing software. They have calendar and/or
contacts sharing between two or more Outlook users--no Exchange or server
needed. It's not as elegant as Exchange but it's cheap and does the job.
