sharing a printer

I would like know where the drivers for sharing a printer
from a win xp computer with a win 98 computer are found
on the microsoft website. I know the driver is supposed
to be in the win xp cd but I can't find it. The reason I
believe I need this driver is because in the win 98
computer I cannot see the shared printer from the win xp
computer in the win 98 network neighbordhood. Please
help.

If the printer is connected to the Windows XP PC, the Windows 98 drivers are
not on the XP CD. They should be available at the manufacturers website.
Only WindowsXP drivers are on the XP CD.

I've had this same problem, but it wasn't resolved even
after I added the new drivers. The problem seems to be
with printers on an XP machine not being visible to other
computers on the network running Windows 98. I've posted
a couple of messages, but all I've found is others who
experience the same problem.

The printers on XP need to be shared before other PCs can see them....

i've found that putting the win98 machines in the same
workgroup as the win xp machine helps greatly. however,
the win98 machines (here anyway) tend to loose conection
with the printer and need to be shut down and restarted.
i'm working on getting rid of those win98 machines
