Hi Guys,

I am going to create a shared workbook from employees to record working
hours. There is a mix of Office 2000, Office XP and Office 2003 in the
office. Can I expect any issues with such an array of versions?

Also is it possible to publish the shared workbook on a web page? It must
remain interactive though.

Take Care,

Jamie

Actually guys, it looks like shared workbooks are not ideal. I was going to
setup a worksheet per user, but if the following scenario happens it will
resolve in a conflict, which won't be acceptable to users.

1) Bob and Wendy open timesheet.xls at the same time.
2) Bob updates his hours on his worksheet and saves.
3) Wendy updates her hours on her worksheet and saves.

The conflict happens as Wendy opened the timehseet before Bob updated his
worksheet and saved :(

So I need to think of a true multiuser interface that can push and pull xml
data from SQL Server. VB application the way? Needs to be quick and
simply really.

Onwards and upwards, every time I think I have a solution things just get in
the way :(

Take Care,

Jamie
