shared WB keeps crashing..

I have recently placed a shared WB on the network, different versions of
Excel accessing it but all machines have been updated through the office
website. At different instances the Excel 2003 machines seem to lock up and
then cause a waterfall effect to the other 8 machines. Is there a setting in
2003 dealing with WB's that could cause this?
 
Don't know. Have you searched the Microsoft Knowledge base for clues? Start at
support.microsoft.com
