Shared memory and XP Plus!

This is a duplication of an inquiry in the Plus newsgroup.

My eMachines T2080 has worked fine for a year, with XP, and
shared memory. Now I bought Plus! and it will not install, error
message says it needs 16MB Video Memory. Does not install with
16, 32, or 64M. Finally the OEM, eMachines, suggests that I ask
Microsoft if Plus! requires dedicated memory. So I'm asking........
(If there is a link to ask Microsoft directly, I'd appreciate it).

Thank you, Carey. I've read that document, and I couldn't find the
answer to my specific question, namely, does Plus! require
dedicated memory, or would shared memory, even 64MB, be
unacceptable. I have referred that document back to eMachines,
the Microsoft authorized OEM, for an answer. I hope I get the
answer.
