shared file

Someone saved a file with the filename of a shred file in
the same directory etc. The file was setup for history
tracking but, because the person didn't make changes in
the file but instead saved a file with the same name it
basically overwrote the shared file. Is there a way to
retrieve the shared file prior to the date it was
overwitten?

Frank,

Go to your IT department and ask them to restore the file
from a previous back-up. Most IT's backup files regularly.
