Shared email address, can't privatize apptment

I have two secretaries who share an email address. However they have each
created a calendar on their own laptop for themselves. It seems that one
cannot mark an item on her calendar and keep it private from the other
secretary. I don't understand why not?? Thanks.

If the calendar is truly on each person's PC, it's physically impossible for
one to see the other's calendar.
