Shared Calendar

I Published my Outlook 2007 Calendar and sent a permission email to a co
worker. On the msg it states "This calendar is shared with restricted
permissions. To preview or subscribe to this calendar, you need to enroll the
e-mail address to which this e-mail message was sent with a Windows Live IDâ„¢
account."

It's her work email address so her 'hotmail" log in does not work. If I use
my "hotmail" log in, it will work.

Any ideas? Do not want to give out my Windows Live ID / Hotmail info.

Did she create a live/passport acct for the address you mailed it to? You
are not restricted to using hotmail addresses for these accts.

Diane,
Tried creating a Windows Live ID account using her work email address but
when you submit the info you will receive an error "that this email is
already registered". Also tried this with another co worker who has a
Hotmail account with the same error msg

Did she ever create a passport account for that address? If she doesn't
remember, she can use the password reset feature and be reminded.

Both co workers never entered their work email address into a Windows ID
account. We tried enerting the work email as an alternate account but you
still could not connect to the shared calendar. I understand that Windows ID
places a cookie in your browser and I'm guessing if it's there you can not
enter / register another email address. I appreciate your thoughts.

if the work address is (e-mail address removed) and she tries to register it for a
passport/live id account and is told it is already in use, its not caused by
cookies. She needs to log into that live id account to see the calendar -
it’s the one the calendar was shared with.

I sent a Calendar share email to her hotmail address instead of her work
email address, she then was able to follow the prompts and share my calendar.
Thanks for your help
