Shared Borders

Is Shared Borders the same as Frames? If i use them, how many people would
not be able to view my pages?

No - shred borders are not frames. They are a table structure that
places shared content (that content common to all pages) in table
cells bordering the page.
Every browser (fron Netscape 2, IE2 and later) will be able to view
your pages.

Correct. The FP shared borders create HTML code that is saved with each
page that "contains" the shared borders.

If you view the source source of a page with shared borders after it is
served to the browser, you will see the table and cell elements added by
FP. If you view the HTML code while editing the page within the FP web,
you don't see it. But there is a meta tag there that tells FP to add the
code for the borders.

For example this:
<meta name="Microsoft Border" content="tab, default">
means add top and bottom border.
