Validate your pages for broken html tag pairs or provide a URL
- each version of FP is better a trying to correct broken tag pairs, but that also means prior errors come back to "haunt" you

| Not sure if this is the same thing or not, but I recently upgraded to FrontpageXP (2000) and I am having trouble with shared
borders. When I open it to work on it, I cannot see or edit the shared borders at all, not in page view or preview. I happened to
open the file using a browser and it opens just fine. This same instance holds true with new webs created. I can open the shared
border the first time, but that is all.

| But for shared borders to work and stick, always open a FP web/site and work only on pages within the web/site (even if it is
a disc
| based web)
