Shared borders on a single page

I took over web development for a site that apparently uses shared borders.
When I open the file in FP2003, I don't see anything other than text that
says msnavigation. I've tried to unhide the file using Tools, Web Settings
but that particular option is grayed on my screen - i'm thinking it's because
it sees the file as a single page and not as a website. I also do not have a
_derived file either on the server. I do have a _vti_pvt & _vti_conf though.
I just need to edit the text in the bottom border. What am I missing? I
know it's somewhere, it keeps displaying online, but offline - I'm clueless.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

Are you opening the web site?
Open FP
File | Open Site

Hi Rob,
No, I'm not. The way I got the files is by FTPing outside of FP directly to
the server. When I attempt to "open the website" ... there's not a website
for me to open - just individual .htm files. Remember ... I'm not the one
who originially created/uploaded this.

Design time tool - like shared borders, only work if you open a FP site

I found the anwer. It was answered under another post titled, "Webmaster info
showed 2x at bottom." Basically, there's no way for me to edit the shared
borders as individual pages; only if I open/close it using FP's site
interface. Since I can't do that (as I told you, I don't have the original
site, just the individual pages), it said that the msnavigation section
should be followed by some extra tbody tags and viola --- that's where the
border was I was trying to edit. So, I took those out extra tbody's out,
added in my own HTML and I got the results I was looking for. Thanks for
your help!
