Shared Borders/Layout Tables

Yes. However tables in shared borders end before the tables in the main
page start because the shared border files are treated as separate by
FrontPage.

It's straight forward to duplicate tables in both though.

The only issue is that there is usually a gap between the shared border and
the rest of the page that you may not want.
 
Yes, if you edit the shared border files themselves, that is
_borders/top.htm, _borders/bottom.htm, _borders/left.htm , and
_borders/right.htm.

However, you cannot use layout tables in any page that has shared borders -
here include files would be more appropriate (or a DWT).
