Shared border text appears on all search results

We're currently using Microsoft Site Server 3.0 Search. I've created a web using shared borders and when search results are returned, each result return contains every link in my shared border. My shared borders reside in _borders so they should be hidden but the search is picking them up. Any suggestions on how to remove shared border text from my search results? Thanks.

You need to exclude the folder under Index Server in this case when creating the catalog.

sounds like on your results pages you have the shared borders turned on for those
pages.....simply go to Format > shared borders and turn them off, selecting 'this
page only'.
