Share C Drive

Can WinXP share out its C: Drive?

I ask this because I am trying to access my Laptop across a P-T-P Network. I
have shared out the "My Documents" folder on the Laptop and then tried to
share the C: Drive the same way, but I can't get to it. Any Ideas?

Thanks

No.

Do you run XP PRO or XP Home?

At google or search.yahoo, search on: "windows xp" drive
share OR sharing [ with the quotes ]

I run XP Pro

Don't have Internet Firewall turned on.

One thing I can't see is the 'Permissions'. I can locate that on other PC's
but they run Win2000. Where do you see Permissions on XP machines?

In Folder Options, turn off Simple Sharing. Then go to My Computer and
right-click on the C: drive icon. Left-click on the Sharing option. You
should get a dialog box that enables you to share the C: drive. Make
sure your user account on the laptop is also on the computer you will
use to access the laptop.
