Access to all subdirectories when mounting network drive

K

KentGBailey

I am trying to transfer some files from my desktop
computer to my laptop. I go into My Computer then click
the Sharing tab and share my C: drive. However, when I
mount the drive and try to access a subdirectory under
that mounted C: drive it says that I don't have access to
it. Why? and how do I get it?

Thanks

Check the share permissions and or add a user account on the desktop with
the user name and password you logon to laptop with to the local
administrator's group.
