Share a calendar between two profiles?

Hi all,
I use two profiles on my pc which handle different pst mail inboxes.
The problem is that I want to have a common pst holding my contacts,
tasks and calendar items, so that while I'm using both the profiles the
the changes on the calendar and other items will be synchronized and to
the other profile. Is this possible? If not how can I have one
calendar(, ...) for both my profiles?

Thanks in advance,
Peter.

You can certainly point to the same PST with two profiles (but you can't
have both profiles open at one time), but what's the point? If you share a
PST between two profiles, then ALL Outlook data (Calendar, Tasks, Notes,
Mail, Contacts, etc.) will be common to both profiles, but the point of two
profiles is to keep the data separate. If you want to share everything,
just use one profile and put both accounts in the same profile.

You can't have separate Inboxes and share everything else.

Thanks Brian for your replying.

I need two profiles mostly for using a different set of rules from
different email accounts when they arrive. And because a few things
aren't supported from the settings of the rules that outlook provides.

The problem now is that I don't want to have the same pst as the primary
mail delivery location, but have my calendar in a shared pst so that
both profiles share the same calendar (I need this mostly for
synchronization with my iPaq, which can't coop with both the profiles
simultaneously)

When your delivery location is a PST, rules are kept in that PST. Sharing a
PST that is the delivery location on two profiles may have rules issues.

You can certainly share a non-delivery PST between two profiles and create
calendar and contact folders there. Your Contacts folder will even work as
an address book if you enable it as such, but you won't get any reminders
from the calendar because Outlook will produce reminders only for the
calendar in the delivery location PST. Moreover, ActiveSync will work only
with the delivery location PST folders so you won't be able to sync with the
calendar and contacts folders in the shared PST.
