Shadowsurfer- Now free

Just curious anyone tried Shadowsurfer before?

Basically, you go to "shadow mode", where all changes made are held in a
temporary file. When you want to leave shadow mode, after rebooting all
such changes are reversed to the clean state. It's kind of like a backup
option.

It's pretty quick.

Select any payment option it doesn't matter, (I chose telephone me)
and they will email you the activiation code.

Has anyone here actually used this product?

I've read some glowing reviews of praise about this software (on
www.download.com) and I was wondering if anyone here has used it and
could write a review.

I used it briefly. Seems to work as advertised.

Has everyone filled in their credit card details even though it says
amount zero? I find it strange you have to do this even though there is
nothing to pay.

I didnt. You can choose the payment option. Just choose call me or
something

I got stuck at that point first, when I gave up and went to my account
properties (I don't remember where exactly) there was a download link.
Activation code was sent by mail and no need to enter any data.

I stopped when I came to that part, but after trying it again, I too, changed
the method to "call me" (using a fake phone number of course) and the download
went through and an activation code was emailed.

Thanks everybody.

After a few false starts (Had a "You have already submitted the order
once" messages) and feeling a bit guilty for putting "private" for phone
number (after all it is a freebie) I eventually got there. Just received
my registration code so all seems to have gone well. Hope the program is
all I expect it to be;-)
