Shadows in Front Page

I cannot seem to place a shadow on any pictures in Front
page. I have tried all forms of pictures and text with
not luck. I click on the object, and the shadow icon
does not give me any options. I have taken the same
pictures and shadowed them in Excel and Word. What is
the deal?

You will need to use your image editing program to add drop shadows. FP
can't do it. the best program I know of for Drop shadows in PhotoImpact:
