Shadow Copy on XP

Is there a way to enable shadow copy on an XP Pro PC?

Is it only something offered for Servers? I would love to deploy it to
my company's PCs but I just can't seem to get it to work even though I
have started the services...

HELP!
 
Shadow copies - also known as "Previous Versions" - no available in XP -
however it is part of Vista.

Thanks! A consultant (that we no longer use) had told my boss that we
could...I didn't think so unless I was completely out of the loop on
that (I am more of a server guy).

Now just to convince my boss that the con was wrong...
 
Do you mean Volume Shadow Copy? It works on XP. Backup software will
make use of it.
