Shading disappears in table headers

I have a document with several tables, and from time to time the shading of
the first row (table header) disappears in all the tables. The text and
formatting is still there.
We are a group that uses the same template to create the documents, but only
one of us have problems with the shading disappearing.

How can this be solved?

Hi Vibeke,

What version of Word are you working in? Are there any steps or actions that take place when this occurs? Header row shading can
be part of a table style.

Word 2003.
The header row shading disappear when text (not in the header row, but
inside the table itself) is copied from another document based on the same
template.
This is two different styles.
So since this is two different styles, it should not overwrite another style?

I copied a table into an empty document and then the shading reappeared.

Is copying all into an empty document the solution??
