i needed one file from the Win 2K CD and looked for SFC.exe that was so
usefull in win 98SE. found it in \System32 folder but got no
effect when dble cliked on. Where in 2000 is this function now found?

I've been working on computers since the 70's, Apple I, DOS, win 3, 98, XP,
etc, but win 2000 is the worst damn OS i have ever worked with. i
deleted one contact in Addr Book and nothing works right. reinstalling
files and apps just creates more problems and i am really sick of Admin/user
restrictions esp with apps created after win 2K like Office 2K not working
right which affects everything else.

Had to install SP4 ... AGAIN! to get most functions back.
somewhat calmed down.
