Several .pst files -- How can I consolidate them??

Hello,
After I had to reinstall Outlook and imported the .pst files, it seems that
my emais and folders are in duplicates and scatered everywhere. Now I have
this Personal.pst and Outlook.pst, some of the synched email is in one and
not another. How can I consolidate into one single .pst file? Also, the
folders I created are now in duplicates, and though I tried deleting them,
everytime I reload the Outlook, the duplicates come back again (i.e Financial
and Financial1). TIA

You can drag and drop content from one .pst to another.
When you have moved all content from a .pst that you want, right-click on
that .pst in Outlook (mail folders) and select "Close <name>.pst"
Do so as needed and delete .psts you no longer need.

Unless I am missing something.)

Thanks William. Let me ask you this: do you know which .pst folders are
created automatically? Is it Outlook.pst and Personal.pst or both? I kept the
older .pst folders in my back up drive and it since I was afraid to delete a
folder that I may need, it keeps on reloading everytime I open Outlook.

Thanks again -- Sonia
